Isaac Asimov meets 'The Sims' meets the ultimate 'MMORPG' (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), but in the future your Avatar is an actual robot that goes out and lives your life for you, while you grow fat and lazy at home. The idea of living life out of your bedroom, being who ever you like, spawning again when you die.. Is this starting to sound familiar? What are your kids doing now? With the growing popularity of online games such as World of Warcraft this concept doesn't sound that too fantastic.
Taken from Robert Venditti's graphic novel, 99% of the worlds population now live their lives through robots. FBI agent Greer (Bruce Willis) has to leave his bedroom and live in the real world when an investigation into mysterious murders goes wrong.
A brilliant story mixed with great futuristic gadgets and concepts makes this a top Sci-Fi movie that in time will become a cult classic. Halfway through the film I lost the plot as my mind wandered, thinking about the endless applications this technology could be used for. Well worth a second viewing... DIDOMAN 9/9
