Director: Oliver Stone
Starring: Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Banks

Oliver Stone has taken on another US President, and this time around hasn't even waited for the smoke to leave the barrel, in fact I think it was released 3 weeks before the election (he lost).

Josh Brolin brilliantly plays George W. Bush the 43rd President of the USA and Richard Dreyfuss is also great playing Vice President Dick Cheney. I'm sure we will never know the full truth of Bush's private life, but Stone does a good job in giving a general idea of what he was like, a good old boy growing up in the shadow of his father.

Not exactly what I expected from Stone, as he was very sympathetic to Bush, portraying him as a likable down to earth guy, who genuinely wanted to do something great for his country. I came out of the film really liking W.

Probably not the best choice for Presidency, but he was up against an emerging dark evil that has spread across the world and I guess he did an OK job of keeping the evil at bay (Guantanamo Bay)... DIDOMAN - 7/9 (Netflix)
